MANAGING PARTNERMatthew Sparks has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality sector, leading transformative acquisitions, development initiatives, and investment strategies across global hotel platforms. Most recently, Matthew served as EVP & Chief Development Officer at Hilton Grand Vacations, where he oversaw the $1.4 billion acquisition of Diamond Resorts International and guided multiple complex workouts of new construction projects during the pandemic. Previously, as EVP & Chief Investment Officer at Park Hotels & Resorts, he directed the $2.5 billion acquisition of Chesapeake Lodging Trust (18 hotels, ~6,000 rooms) and led non-core asset dispositions exceeding $1.5 billion across the US, Europe, South America, and Africa. Earlier in his career, Matthew was Head of Luxury and Lifestyle Development at Hilton Worldwide, where he managed the $1.95 billion sale of the Waldorf Astoria New York and executed a subsequent 1031 exchange into six luxury hotels and resorts (Hilton Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria Casa Marina Key West, The Reach Key West Waldorf Astoria, Parc 55 San Francisco, and Juniper Hotel Cupertino Curio), as well as executive roles with Fairmont Raffles and Marriott. With deep expertise in acquisitions, development, brand relations, and global portfolio management, Matthew has a proven track record of driving growth and value creation across the hospitality investment landscape. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University's School of Hospitality Business.

MANAGING PARTNERJonathan Fuisz has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and development. He has completed hotel acquisitions and dispositions totaling over $4.0 billion, 2+ million SF of mixed-use development, and the successful entitlement of another ~800,000 SF of pending hotel development. Most recently, as the Senior Vice President of Investments for Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. (Park), Jonathan led the successful entitlement of a 515-key hotel tower on Oahu, a 213-key hotel or timeshare tower on the Big Island, a 73-key guestroom expansion in Santa Barbara, CA, and the entitlement and development of a ~100,000 SF ballroom expansion in Orlando, FL. In addition, he oversaw the disposition of 21 non-core assets (~5,900 keys) in the US, UK, Europe and Brazil with total proceeds exceeding $1.5 billion and was a senior member of the team leading Park's acquisition of Chesapeake Lodging Trust for $2.5 billion (~6,000 keys). Prior to joining Park, Jonathan was a Managing Director in the Washington, DC office of Hines. At Hines, Jonathan held various leadership roles on CityCenterDC, a $1.0+ billion, 1.9 million SF, mixed use development project in downtown Washington, DC developed with Hines' equity partner, Qatari Diar. The project featured buildings designed by two Pritzker-Prize-winning architects (Herzog & de Meuron and Foster + Partners) and included office, apartment, condominium, retail and hotel uses. Jonathan's work on CityCenterDC culminated as the regional project officer in charge of the development of the hotel component—the Conrad Washington, DC, a 360-key luxury hotel. Prior to joining Hines, Jonathan was a corporate attorney at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York City where he represented clients on numerous M&A and corporate finance transactions. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University, a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

CHAIRMANBernard Siegel has over 30 years of travel & leisure investment experience. As a partner at KSL Capital Partners, he led $3B of investments in hospitality-focused real estate and operating companies across 4 funds and was a member of the company’s Investment Committee from 2006 to 2019. He served as a board member at Under Canvas Inc. and Davidson Hotels & Resorts. Prior to that he was an EVP at Destinations Hotels where he raised a $250M hospitality-focused fund and invested over $500M in US hotels. Early in his career, he founded the Hospitality Division at Secured Capital and was a market maker in secondary mortgages secured by non-performing and sub-performing hotels and other CRE asset classes.
